Now the brazilian band came out with their second album under the beloved Mad Decent. As you may saw, we review only albums that we like so the rating will be always 7+. there&#8217;s no need to spend bad words on subjective perceptions. Tropical/bacanal is pure fun, shiny happy music that brings you on the beaches. This is actually &#8220;beach music&#8221;, with a strong and deep cultural traditions in brazil. You may find it a little bit kitsch at the first listen but in the end you&#8217;ll find the record produced and curated in every single aspect. The highlights of the album are the tropical pop of &#8220;Pucko&#8221; and &#8220;Baby don&#8217;t deny it&#8221; and tribal hip hop of &#8220;Brazilian boys&#8221;. The rhythm gets nevrotic in &#8220;Picole&#8217; &#8221; and in &#8220;Baile punk&#8221;, hardcore punk, inextinguishable passion of underground brazilian bands (see CSS). “Tracer” is much more sophisticated with a clean production, still oniric but less darker with blossom dreams. 

Gloomy synths fill the album from the beginning to the end and you’ll love it if you loved D ’ E O N latest album “LP”.
Noumerous guest vocalists trasform s the beats in potential dance-pop hits expecially on “EFX” with KELELA voice over industrial sound and progressive synths, truly addictive. 
The most significant collaboration is without a doubt the one with Romanthony (the voice behind the Daft Punk hits “One More Time” and “Too Long”) in the song “Do It”, a 90’s revival dancefloor filler where ROBIN S meets a young Guetta (yes David).
