REVIEW ➮➫➬➭ KASTLE
STARRING ➮➬➭➮ Kastle
After a series of excellent Ep that settled him as one of the most hopefuls emerging producers, Kastle his first full-length on his own label, Symbols. This is one of the most significant opera of the contemporary bass scene with excellent vocal collaborations such as Ayah Marar, Austin Paul and Starkey, stretched and pitched as usual.
Kastle gives us breathtaking downtempo soulful episodes especially in “Been Awhile” and “Into the night” and interesting arrangements in “Death from above”, where a vocal melody accompanied by a piano is interrupted tribal-rave emotional groove.
Some songs speed-up creating the perfect dancefloor situation in a uk-garage style similar to xxxy, Disclosureand SBTRKT, with awesome results, like in “Red Light” and “Insatiable”. Don’t underrate the last songs, “Make You Stay” and “One Last Time”, 2 weed rave gems.
Listen and have PLEASURES.
