The production quality slick. A lot of songs stand out each carrying a strong feelings. With abstract rhythms that could coil the mind. Beautifully blended together and at times reminiscent of IDM chillout artist like Boards of Canada or Bonobo.He brings together a variety of influences to create his own unique fresh beats. REVIEW ➮➫➬➭ ALL OF US, TOGHETERSTARRING ➮➫➬➭ teen dazethe canadian teen daze after few fundamental eps in the chillwave scene is finally coming out with a full length on Lefse Records.It’s a natural follow up of the previous EP “A silent planet” with more synthetic sounds, the bpm get faster, the atmospheres are futuristic. So if Toro y Moi moved to chillfunk, Washed out to dream pop, other acts just moved far away, TEEN DAZE evolved his sound to a more maximal synth-pop/disco beat and that demonstrate how traditional chillwave saturated artists and listeners. The oniric atmosphere remains the same, with some irresistible melodies perfect for your sun tanning, especially in “Treten”, “Late” and “the New Balearic”. Unfortunately the quality of the rest is not as good as the the tracks mentioned and perhaps the right dimension was another ep. By the way there are some “must hear”!7☺ / 10 ☺
