FIRST OF ALL: Every reader of SEA PUNK GANG will love this album. The afro-pop substance is still strong, but everything is taken to the next level with big rave drops, acid arpeggios and moombah rhythms . The big differences fromthe first album are clear right from the first track “Adani”, a madness, wobble bass + distortions and breakdowns. The single “Kondaine” is a tropical dancefloor filler, irresistible bubbles and shiny synths that reminds the Unicorn Kid’s remix of teenager. The 90’s machines and presets are coming back strong in general and also in this records like in “Moto” and in the superb “Come Alive”. Great collaboration with Amadou & Mariam in the track Bantu, a epic lion king song. This record is so much enjoyable. MUST.8 ☺/10 ☺
