So Surkin is no more the new school and he actually felt in love with the new new school. Probably amazed by the work of Rustie on his “Loose Yourself” (probably the best remix pf the 2012) or by the cult works of the club cheval members or the new futuristic experimental pop of Para One, his brand new ep has a new tumblr wave outfit, visual and sound.From the aticipations we caught the evolution of Surkin and we expected an additional new energy to an already super exciting scene. But actually Surkin fails to impress this time, with an ep extremely well produced but way too much derivated from conteporary young producers.“Oedo 606” is a tropical downtempo tune with a Unicorn Kid-a-like synth melody , flat and boring.“Tiger rythm” is a tribal techno track that also fails to impress.“Stronger” feat. the Club Cheval member Canblaster is the outstanding track of the ep, an experimental rave experience, and with “Warehouse” are the two tracks that worth the attention to this work.7☺ /10☺
