REVIEW ➮➫➬➭ THE PALACE GARDEN
STARRING ➮➫➬➭ Beat Connection
The seattle-based Beat Connection amused us the past year with that long EP, Surf Noir, containing “In the Water” and “Silver Screen”, true underground hits. The Palace Garden is their debut album, Tom Eddy their new vocalist and now they are a proper band. The 12 tracks are funky, fresh, tropical pop songs well produced and arranges. The results are intresting when the rhythm gets slower like in “Invisible Cities” ♥ and when the lights get darker like in “Think feel”, our fav ♥ ♥ . The happy groovie songs are a mixture of Friendlyfires/Fools gold/Young Empires maybe too much heard. Easy listening, but in the summer that’s ok right? like books..THE ALBUM IS ON MY IPHONE, PLAYLIST CALLED TROPICOOL/JOGGING.
